GASTROENTEROLOGY :
The Pediatric Gastroenterology program offers diagnostic and treatment services for children and adolescents with a wide-range of common and rare gastrointestinal disorders.
The Pediatric Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) program provides care for patients suffering from inflammatory bowel diseases, such as Chron’s disease, ulcerative colitis and other intestinal disorders. We combine a multidisciplinary approach with the latest diagnostic methods, research-based treatments and surgical approaches to develop effective, customized approaches for each patient.
Understanding that teenagers and young adults with IBD have a unique set of needs, our transition program helps prepare them to become independent in caring for themselves and makes the hand off to our adult gastroenterologists smooth.
HEPATOLOGY :
The Pediatric Hepatology program is dedicated to providing the best care and outcomes for children with liver disease. Guided by a family-centered care philosophy in which we partner with the whole family to treat the child, not just the disease.
Our team of pediatric surgeons and hepatologists are nationally recognized for their expertise in treating a wide variety of disorders that impact normal liver function. Working in collaboration with Cosmos Hospital specialists ensures we’re equipped to manage any liver disease that may affect your child and your family.
The Pediatric Hepatology program offers medical care to patients before and after liver transplant. Our team has cared for pediatric liver transplant recipients with a combined experience of over two decades and is committed to providing the best possible outcomes for our patients.
